Today,
I’m having a particularly hard time wrapping my mind around having two babies.
Fortunately, the 6mo belly is helping…. >.>
(this is obviously not me, in case the Hard Rock logo didn’t tip you off, but here’s to ROCKIN the bump…)
Also, any stretch mark cream recommendations from you other mommies?
I used Palmers Coco Butter religiously last pregnancy...

Who doesn't love bath time photos?
Seriously?
Especially when the baby is question is THAT ^ cute and happy.
Nana just bought him new bath toys, he loves THEM.
I love them because they’re frogs and match all the other frog bath stuff.
(So, the water was NOT the color of pee, it’s bad lighting. Just FYI…)
Hmmm Mommy, I think it’s time to buy bigger hoodie towels!

8 Months Tomorrow!

8months and Counting...
I realized today what a surprisingly long time it has been since I have updated this, I have a few new photos (all of the camera phone variety) which I post shortly. For now, a quick update on Lincoln James - he’ll be 8 months old on Friday!
The Stats:
22lbs and (nearly) 29inches long.
This puts him in the 75th percentile for both height and weight at his age, and fully triple his size at...

B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
Yesterday Lincoln had mashed banana’s for the first time, and I think it’s safe to say they are his new favourite thing EVER.
Now, while this is adorable (especially considering he has monkey everything) it makes him turn up his nose at his peas or carrots and rice cereal, making dinner time less fun than it should be.
He’s still not teething, which I think is a little odd...

Solid Foods!
So far we’ve had carrots, apples, pears and prunes. Oh and of course rice cereal (:
Lincoln’s favourite is probably prunes!
We couldn’t find his baby spoon this morning, so we used a spatula >.<
House Sitting
We’re house sitting for my parents this week, and discoving that Lincoln really hates to sleep in his graco. HOWEVER, the lack of sleep doesn’t seem to phase him, (lucky him) and he certainly is having fun in Nana’s toy box!
He’s almost six months old now and everything he can grab goes straight in his mouth.
(Look at those arm rolls!)

Bumbo!
After several weeks of searching 2nd hand stores for one of these ridiculous chairs I finally broke down and bought one new (but with a coupon, hurray coupons!).
Lincoln loves it, and considering how much cleaner I’m able to keep the house when I can set him down happily, I love it too!
Also, we were starting to use the high as a play chair and I really wanted to avoid that. We started...
My least favourite
part about being a mom is that I get puked on daily.
But my favourite part is everything else (:
